Frontier Strategy Group was founded in 2004 by management consultants from McKinsey and the Boston Consulting Group who recognized the growing need for corporate strategic advisory services in emerging markets. The firm advises the world’s leading corporations on market-entry strategies, mergers and acquisitions, operational issues, and government relations in emerging markets. The Councils on Emerging Markets were created in response to client requests for best practices and knowledge sharing mechanisms in emerging markets, where executives are forced to make decisions with limited data and visibility into the future.
